Lions Clubs International
Mission & Vision
Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding.
The motto of Lions Clubs International is "We Serve". The motto conveys the organization's guiding principle of "unselfish service to others".
Lions Clubs International works on many causes, including:
- Improving health and wellbeing: Lions Clubs work to improve the health and wellbeing of their communities through humanitarian service and grants.
Preventing blindness: Lions Clubs work to prevent blindness and avoidable vision loss through vision screenings and educational events. They also provide grants to support projects that benefit people who are blind or visually impaired.
Strengthening communities: Lions Clubs work to strengthen communities through their programs and initiatives.
Supporting those in need: Lions Clubs work to support those in need through their programs and initiatives.
Encouraging peace and international understanding: Lions Clubs work to encourage peace and international understanding.
